What is API key?
Are you using a wordpress blog? Do you have active that Akismet? I like to know can you used the API key for two blogs? I mean with the same API Key. I have no idea about it that is why I am asking you for your advice.
Frankly speaking I have not use API key before for domain blogs. I am so blurr about it and I could not take it any more as the blogs having too many spam comments.
